Jan 12, 2010 (The Advertiser – ABIX via COMTEX) — The Adelaide Magistrates Court is hearing a case involving claims of fraud at a religious school. A rabbi and his wife face 39 charges of dishonestly dealing with documents, after it they allegedly gained government subsidies for non-existent student enrolments. They have pleaded guilty, and their lawyers have appealed to the court to accelerate proceedings.
