Jun. 24–CLOSING ADELPHIA ARGUMENTS: In closing arguments, one of the many defense attorneys in the trial of former Adelphia execs, including three members of the Rigas family, described the case as scapegoating.

The criminal charges, which include looting the company in a $2 billion fraud, are like regicide, or the killing of kings, by mobs who blamed a few so the community could feel better, said Mark Mahoney, a lawyer for former assistant treasurer Michael Mulcahey.

Prosecutors said there have been “20 hours of excuses to explain away all the facts” in the case, said Assistant U.S. Attorney Richard Owens, in his rebuttal argument

A well-designed card should convey both

A well-designed card should convey both a text message and a feeling. People really do pick up and collect business cards they are attracted to ? even if they don?t need the services right away. If you take the time to have the card designed by a true artist, chances are you will be pleasantly surprised by the results.

I stumbled on what I consider to be a couple of great business card design companies owned by Daniel Will-Harris http://www.will-harris.com/design/bizcards2.htm and Victoria Arico at http://www.lookslikejoy.com/BusinessCards.html. I prefer designers rather than mass-produced templates for many reasons, but primarily because I don?t want to see my ?logo? on someone else?s card.
